Shortcut Action - Create Album
Creates a new album in a photo library. You can create the album at the top or bottom of the album list, before or after an existing album, or inside a folder.
Parameters
| Parameter | Type | Required | Description |

| Name | Text | Yes | The name for the new album. |
| Library | Library | Yes | The library to create the album in. |
| Placement | Album Placement | No (default: At Top) | Where to place the new album. Options include At Top, At Bottom, Before, After, and Inside. |
| Album | Album | No | A reference album or folder used with the Before, After, or Inside placement options. Required when using those placement options. |
Result
The newly created album.
Example Shortcuts
- Create a library with some default albums — Creates a new Photos library, then populates it with a bunch of albums as a starting point.
- Create a folder with a bunch of albums — Creates a folder inside an existing library, then populates the folder with a number of sequentially numbered albums.
