Does IPLM 3.5 look to still be on target for end of the month and will it pretty much 100% compatible with IPhoto 09? I can’t wait to make the purchase.

When you finish IPLM 3.5, will I be able to copy the Faces info and Places info from my iPhoto library to my wife’s? That would be wonderful! We have only one digital camera and we download the photos to both her Mac and mine. I’ve confirmed a lot of faces (hundreds) on my Mac, and I’d like to transfer that info to those photos on her Mac. She already has the photos, just not the Face names.

Agreed on the iDiet request. There are very few photos I need to keep the full resolution version of permanently, and if I do, I’ll likely back them up.

Suggested feature as iDiet, whereby you can trim down your library would be great. I love to have a slimmed down library with my “best of” pictures and if ever I need my originals, I go to my full library on my external disk…

What I do not understand is why did you say: “This is the first of two updates for iPhoto ‘09 compatibility”?

Is a new version completely iLife’09 compatible coming soon?
I am wondering if I should get this software right now or wait some time.

By the way, I would like to ask one request. Is there a way to include merge original with modified photos? Something like Diet iPhoto did in the past. And more, a way to control Folders by Events.

iPhoto has been crashing when I transfer events from one library to another. Doesn’t seem to make any difference if it’s 8 photos or 800. I still have iPhoto 8 on my desktop, thinking I’d avoid compatibility issues, but now I’m wondering if that’s the problem.

Looks good! While running a merge of two libraries (both 2009 formatted) something happened and now when I try to open one of the libraries it says the library is in a newer version than Iphoto 2009? Any ideas?

Yes, iPLM 3.5 will be a free update for all users, so no additional purchase will be necessary to get the new version.
