iPLM Leopard update

Just a quick note on iPhoto Library Manager compatibility with Leopard:
- I am currently working on the update, but Apple has decided not to give developers an advance copy of the final version of Leopard until it ships, which means that I won’t truly be able to start final testing until this weekend. I’m hoping that it won’t take too long and that the iPLM update will be out sometime next week.
- Similarly to major iPhoto updates, so far the basic library switching in iPLM seems to work fine in Leopard, it’s just the advanced photo copying stuff that will need additional work, so upgrading to Leopard isn’t going to cut you off from your iPhoto libraries or anything
- The update will be free, so if you buy a copy of iPhoto Library Manager now, you won’t have to pay to upgrade, you can just download the new version.
That’s all for now, I’ll try to keep updates coming as I know more.

Am interested in your program for library mananger …. I have installed iphoto 8. Will your program be compatible with it?
I have the same question relative to iPhoto 8 - Are there any glishes?
Thanks for the update. I did a complete HD erase and clean install of Leopard, then reinstalled iLife. When I went to use iPLM to merge my backup iPhoto library with the empty one from the iLife install, I got an OS error.
So, since my ‘active’ iPhoto library is empty, I just rsync’ed my backup copy to it and it works fine.
I’ll be happy when your update comes so I can use the merging between my machines again.
Hi Brian,
I have just installed OS X 10.5 Leopard and iLife ‘08 on a brand new 24″ iMac. I have imported 2 old iPhoto libraries, one from v5 and other from v7. The imported OK, quickly and easily, I can flip between the 2 in iPhoto Library Manager, but they won’t Merge. I get this error message: “OSStatus error -1708″. Hope this helps with your re-compiling for 10.5.
Regards,
Tim
